Over the years, I’ve seen this prove out many times; Good swings lead to good outcomes.
Meaning, a good launch angle can lead to positive results even with less-than-perfect contact and/or exit velocity. So I think learning the proper swing path first then building the velocity from that makes sense. Similar to improving a lift. You’ll have greater success by learning the proper lift mechanics then adding weight over time.
